This new venue provides a variety of excellent
options for your important event.
The Purcell Gallery (right) brings a tasteful,
creative flair to the event setting. The gallery is carpeted, with adjustable
lighting, multiple power outlets and two entrances. It is convenient to the
Center’s lobby and the extended main hallway, and easily accessible
for setup and arrivals. A well-equiped catering kitchen is located off the
lobby. The Louisa Arts Center also has a historically distinctive design,
spacious Meeting Room and an intimate Conference Room appropriate for meetings
and business events.

Upon completion of Phase III renovations of the Center, scheduled for April 2008, the Cooke-Haley Theatre will open its doors for Center programs and performances and rental space. The theatre will seat 200, with state-of-the-art lighting and sound, a thrust stage, dressing rooms and green room, rear loading dock, and a grand piano.
Studio A and Studio B is used primarily for art education purposes and is available for rental space, as well.
Outside the Center’s
main entrance doors, there is an attractive patio area, set with commemorative
bricks and stone, providing a versatile contrast in staging your event. The
pavilion in the beautifully landscaped park grounds is an outdoor site that
you can reserve. It is adjacent to walking paths, a playground and a spacious
parking lot.
The Louisa Arts Center welcomes
you to visit, talk with the Director about the needs and wishes for your
event and plan your important event in this unique, lovely and affordable
venue.
